In Operations Center, resources are crucial elements that support your work, and can be assigned to cards on different boards. To make it easier for board admins to assign and manage resources on a board level, the **Board Resources** feature comes into play. This feature provides the ability customize the resources available on each boards.

3\. Add resource types available or create custom groups

Each resource category includes predefined types created by administrators. Board members are always included by default; additionally, you can add resource types. For example, a dispatch board may include **Dispatchers** and **Officers**, along with the appropriate equipment and location types, ensuring SOC operators can assign the right resources.
