What are the deployment options? 

Operations Center is a pure cloud, SaaS product. It can be connected to Security Center systems through the Operations Center plugin, Security Center SaaS systems are connected through native integrations.


How do I manage my customers’ Operations Center systems? 

Operations Center is a multitenant solution, and your teams can remotely manage and administrate customer systems using their own login account. 


Can I specify which of my employees has access to certain customer systems? 

Yes. Each system, and every board within each system, has its own user permissions and roles. Users should only be permissioned into the areas which are relevant to their work.


Is Operations Center replacing other Genetec offerings? 

No. Operations Center provides new solutions for customers and integrates into Genetec offerings to expand the benefits of unified systems.


How can I migrate an existing Operations Center system bundled with Security Center SaaS to a full-feature Operations Center system? 

Customers who wish to get access to the full feature list of Operations Center, or who need more than the included five user licenses, are required to purchase an Operations Center license for each user. Existing systems will be converted by Genetec with no adjustment needed by either the Channel Partner or End Customer. 


All rights reserved. 6 Does Operations Center support existing Security Center on-premises plugins and SDK integrations? 

The Operations Center plugin supports Security Center 5.10+ systems and is available through the Operations Center in-app documentation. This plugin enables interactions with any Security Center event available in the onpremise system. Event-to-action, Automation, and manual user events are configured within the Config Tool. 


How can technology partners integrate with Operations Center? 

Operations Center users have access to the API library through the in-app documentation. Partners or users who wish to develop 3rd party integrations may make use of the API but support from the Operations Center development team will be based on availability.
