Operations Center's licensing
Operations Center is available in two methods: streamlined with Security Center SaaS Premium, or full-featured to support either Security Center systems or as a standalone system.

Operations Center Licensing Methods
1. The first method is as an inclusion with Security Center SaaS Premium subscriptions. This method provides new subscriptions with five named user accounts for Operations Center. This approach will also include pre-configured functions for work ticketing but will be limited to the five users and advanced features such as customizable reports and dashboards, service users for integrations, and the Security Center plugin will be restricted. Customers needing to extend beyond the five users, or who need the full functionality, will need to purchase Operations Center user licenses.
2. In the second method, Operations Center is in a simple, user-count-based subscription license annually, and is designed to eliminate barriers to entry or growth. Systems can be started with a single license and can be renewed at whatever user count is needed each year. Systems can integrate to existing Security Center deployments at no additional costs and with no extra licenses, and it can function entirely stand-alone without other Genetec systems in the customer environment. There are no restrictions for features, services, or quantity of work managed in the system. This is the “full Operations Center” method.
Overview of the Genetec™ Operations Center solution
Operations Center is designed to cater to organizations of any size or industry. Customers license the expected number of users, while the actual number of users is logged and tracked in the system for analytics. We allow our customers to exceed the number of licensed users during their subscription, and at the next renewal period, this data will be used to quote next year’s subscription, within alignment to our fair use policy.
There are no licenses for features or modules, and each order launches a 12-month subscription, limiting transactions to once a year. Volume discounts kick in automatically at key user counts (20, 50, 100) to reduce the cost per user.
