What is included
What use cases are addressed at launch?
Operations center supports a wide range of work for customers, some examples are: Security dispatching, investigation management, activity tracking, system commissioning, project tracking, and work ticketing.
What types of reports are available?
Operations Center enables users to create custom templates for reports and dashboards. These can focus on individual work items, activity in a time period, work across teams, and resource-specific. Examples include incident reports, shift reports, quarterly reports, device history reports, and work tickets.
How many users can access a system?
Operation Center does not have a limit to total or concurrent users, regardless of the number of licenses currently active for the subscription. This allows customers to add new users immediately, whenever it is needed and without delay. And since Operations Center is a multitenant-based system, users may have access to multiple independent systems, from different organizations systems, based on permissions. Channel Partners can support their customer systems, and their own system, from the same user profile
What types of client connections are available?
Users may connect directly to Operations Center by either web or mobile (Android and IOS) apps.
Are user connections concurrent and for a specific client type?
Operations Center user licenses are based on the unique number of individuals who will be expected to use Operations Center in their daily work over the majority of 12 months. Concurrency or connection methods are not a factor for licensing. Should the number of licensed users be exceeded, Genetec will allow the extra users to continue using the system and will adjust the number of licenses at term renewal considering fair use.
Does Operations Center support Private Cloud and Public Cloud?
Operations Center is only available as Software-as-a-Service, managed by Genetec, and hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Does Operations Center support single sign-on (SSO)?
Yes. SSO, via SAML Azure AD, is supported at no additional cost. Administrators can leverage SCIM to facilitate identity and user management.
