Automation API

The OC automation API is a high-level collection of APIs that allows direct interaction with the main focus on the work item operations. It is meant to make it easy to integrate with Operations Center. The drawback is that operations might not be present immediately after being exposed in the core API or that not all performance optimizations can be done.
Endpoints are written in a way to make use of operations but without the need to know about the underlying event system.
